Purpose of the Parent Teacher Organization

A Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) fosters collaboration between parents, teachers, and staff to enhance our school community through fundraisers, activities, and projects.

Accomplishments & Tasks Completed as of March, 2025

Non-profit Status: We are now officially registered as a non-profit organization with the California Secretary of State.

Bylaws: Our PTO bylaws have been completed. You can access them here.

Fundraiser: Our first fundraiser is scheduled for John Still’s Open House event in May, where the Kona Ice truck will be on campus.

Stay Tuned! Upcoming Tasks

PTO Officer Nominations: We are currently collecting nominations for PTO officers. Once nominees confirm their interest, the first PTO officer election will take place from April 2nd – April 9th.

Future Meetings: The next PTO meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 25th, where we will create a meeting schedule for the remainder of this school year and for the 2025-2026 school year.

Membership Drive: We will hold a membership drive in the spring of 2025 to encourage greater participation within the community.
